Working for you in Menominee County: A WisDOT North Central Region improvement project on WIS 47 will enhance safety and connectivity between Duquaine Road and County VV. Among the many improvements, pavement resurfacing and reconstruction of a stretch of highway will improve sight distances at intersections and give defined driveway access. Added sidewalks and on-street bicycle accommodations will provide pedestrians and bicyclists more connection options. The Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin is helping fund some of the sidewalk improvements through their own funding and a Bureau of Indian Affairs grant
